Pencil drawing: study for The Artist's Eye

This carefully-crafted image was produced during the month or so in 2005 when I was working on The Case Against Art, a project I was unable to complete, thank God. This image was intended to express the idea of an artist whose vision is deep and mercifully narrow. It was fully expounded in the finished drawing but this sletch is the first flowering of that particular rhetorical aesthetic.
